OXIMO® quality

The automotive industry faces different challenges today than it did a decade ago. Cars have become highly sophisticated machines. They have to undergo gruelling tests, not only to meet exacting international standards but also to guarantee the safety of their users.

Windshield wipers are an element that affects the active safety of a vehicle. So they are devices whose role will be to prevent any collision. Whether you drive a sports car, a limousine, a bus or a city bus, you need uncompromised visibility. A car’s windscreen and rear window is not a window in the house that is washed twice a year, at Christmas.

Car windshield wipers have also undergone an evolution. At first glance, there may appear to be no significant changes in their design, but the essence is in the details. OXIMO has pioneered innovative solutions to improve the performance and durability of windshield wipers.

OXIMO® car wipers

From the very beginning of the company’s existence, a focus has been placed on the quality of materials used. This has a crucial impact on the durability and effectiveness of the wiper blades. Constant work is done to improve the products, and as a result:

  • The wiper blade rubber is produced with natural rubber enriched with silicone, preventing crumbling.
  • An additional layer of PTFE – Teflon for the wiper blades ensures quiet operation.
  • A galvanized, durable steel rail serves as the backbone of the wiper blades.
  • High-quality polyethylene and polycarbonate alloys are used to manufacture plastic components.

Wiper tests

Endurance tests are carried out under natural conditions, with specialized equipment used to simulate specific road conditions.
A salt spray corrosion chamber is utilized to test the corrosion resistance of vehicle wipers.

The most recent endurance testing of OXIMO® wipers took place in January 2022 at Univentum Labs in Gdansk, Poland. Specialists assessed the rubber quality and air turbulence while driving and conducted the wipers’ abrasion, tensile, and UV resistance tests.

With a focus on quality, the company has become the largest manufacturer of car wipers in Poland. Boasting nearly 8,000 distribution points, 30 distributors abroad, and several million users, customer feedback is vital to product quality.
